In search of inspiration, it was there all the time'

A Heart Broken Open

About Edd

Edd Donovan and The Wandering Moles celebrate the art of quality songwriting with performance that is beautiful, simplistic and charming.

Singing about truth, love and the need for change, this movement of Moles believes that, not unlike the chaos theory, listening to their album 'A Heart Broken Open' will put an end to world poverty and all human suffering.

Anyway, born in St Helens, Edd Donovan settled in Cheltenham at 18; he found it a more comfortable place to find his direction in life, hear his calling, reflect, and sign on. His 20's was a blur – it is a challenge to recollect these days, and usually involves a lie down.

Cometh his 30's, Edd decided to make up for lost time: he became a Social Worker, grew a beard, had two children, and went ginger. He also began living his prepubescent and somewhat delusional dream of becoming a Wandering Mole, and saving the planet.

The Wandering Moles comprises of real musicians who volunteer their talents to the Mole movement and at times quite cynically collude with the Donovan delusion. They can be identified in the Rodent Gallery. If you wanna be a Mole it's simple: buy a CD and change the world, or come and see us play.

Cheers

Elder Mole.
